Fresh Air Archive

For more than four decades, Fresh Air with Terry Gross has been a defining show for public radio listeners, its interviews offering an intimate window into the lives and minds of thinkers, artists, and storytellers who have shaped our culture and our world.

Launched in 2019, the Fresh Air Archive provides hardcore fans and new listeners alike with an opportunity to experience the breadth and depth of a catalogue that spans generations of the American experience. With more than 22,000 segments already in the Archive and new ones being added each week, the Fresh Air Archive is one of the internet's definitive interview collections.

As the Product Manager of the Fresh Air Archive, I led various aspects of its design and development, such as:

  • Defining the audience for the Archive and identifying critical user journeys;

  • Writing the product requirements that outlined the key features needed to support these use cases;

  • Creating the original mockups and prototypes that informed the eventual user experience;

  • Designing and executing the QA protocols for user acceptance testing;

  • Managing the launch of the site.

Since its launch, I have remained heavily involved with growing and improving the Fresh Air Archive through product marketing, audience analysis, content curation, and the ongoing development of new features.
